Team PORTOPONG headed to the World Series of Beer Pong

Love beer pong? Love $50,000? Well the World Series of Beer Pong held at the Flamingo Casino in Las Vegas is the place to be the first week of January 2010.

Last year PORTOPONG proudly sponsored this event hosted by BPONG and introduced a few new things, a new PORTOPONG design and our PORTOPONG X energy drink.

We also tossed an amazing party at the Rock House on the Vegas strip, all the staff looked amazing wearing PORTOPONG Pink t shirts and the video screens around the club playing sideshows of people having a good time with their inflatable beer pong tables. The crowd loved the mini-tournament we tossed and generally everyone at the event we met told us they either had a PORTOPONG or played on one - good stuff.

We even got to be on the Art Mann Presents show! Art was cool as hell and since then we have run into him a few places...

This year is a new year! Fiercer competition has risen to the playing field - more money is on the line, more people are looking to take home the grand prize and see how they stack up against the champs; New York's own Team Smashing Time (who controversially will be splitting up this year.)

PORTOPONG Donates Pink Beer Pong Table Proceeds to Keep A Breast Foundation

In conjunction with the Keep A Breast (KAB) Foundation, PORTOPONG (inventors of the inflatable beer pong table) created a pink edition PORTOPONG table to promote breast cancer prevention, early detection, and support. A portion of all sales of the pink PORTOPONG beer pong table were donated to the KAB Foundation during October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Naugatuck, Connecticut, November 16, 2009 – PORTOPONG continued their support of the Keep A Breast Foundation this year by pledging $5 from the sale of every pink PORTOPONG table to the foundation in the customer’s name.

With increased sales during October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PORTOPONG was able to donate over $2,500 to KAB to further support and promote breast cancer awareness and prevention.

It seems an unlikely match, but as Kimmy McAtee of KAB, says, “As the leading global youth outreach breast cancer organization, Keep A Breast is always looking for ways to reach out to young people in a fun way. PORTOPONG ’s teaming up with KAB was a great platform to reach young women this summer utilizing creative and exciting events to get the message out.”

The pink inflatable beer pong tables were even seen floating in the Grotto at the Playboy mansion during one of KAB’s many benefits to raise awareness during October.
