PORTOPONG LLC was created March 2007 by Jerry
Piscitelli and Sal Laudano, two friends since childhood who love beer
and beer pong, plus love being creative with how they drink while on vacation.
Jerry and Sal, were planning to go on a annual family and extended family vacation and an idea struck them that would change the way we all would play our favorite drinking game forever!
While thinking of fun things to do in the pool, the idea of aquatic beerpong struck them (yes there was alcohol involved). Being full of ideas, like all friends share when hanging out but usually never follow through on them, they decided to take a step forward and bring PORTOPONG to life!
Working extremely fast to bring the original inflatable beerpong table to the market - the two developed the first prototype by early spring of 07 and had a working production model for the middle of the summer. Once the first PORTOPONG was sold it was no longer a unicorn, but a reality!
Working day and night while holding full time jobs, the team pressed forward to help grow the brand that is PORTOPONG! Later in our story, the duo had met a third, his name is Ron Aparicio and quickly he became a strong piece of the team and the California branch was created. A new friend was born and within a few months of hard selling, and 2 long beer festival trips the duo became a trio.
Now - the 3 continue to push forward every day to bring you the newest in the inflatable beer pong table world with expanding colors and ideas that will help bring our portofriends the party that never ends!
